Ashoknagar police arrest 2 for ‘deadly assault’

Bengaluru: Two men who had fled the scene allegedly after carrying out a deadly attack on a person for entering “their area” have been apprehended by the Ashoknagar police. The accused have been identified as Tarun Kumar, 36, and Harish Kumar, 31.
Both are residents of Austin Town and are being held in police custody. On November 1, the victim Kumaresh, 30, was standing along with a friend Raju near Rose Wines, located on the Old Race Course Road in Austin Town.
The accused arrived at the scene and questioned Kumaresh why he had come to their area. They are said to have stabbed the victim with a knife when the altercation got serious, and fled the scene. After an attempt to murder case was filed in the Ashoknagar Police Station, cops successes in nabbing the accused.
