Bidar records 13 degrees temp, lowest in K’taka

Bidar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) disclosed that Bidar city in the wee hours of Tuesday recorded a temperature of 13 degrees Celsius, the lowest in the state as the calendar turned to the second week of November.

“Bidar recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 13 degrees in the plains of the State,” an IMD statement said. The weather agency added that rains were waning in the state as winter takes hold. “Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over interior Karnataka,” IMD added.

However, some rain continues to persist i due to weather systems in the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal, including a cyclonic circulation. Moreover, a low pressure is likely to form in south west Bay of Bengal by Wednesday
