MA Saleem is the new traffic police chief of B'luru

Bengaluru: The Karnataka government has issued an order transferring 11 IPS officers in the state police department. Of them, seven officers have been transferred while four have been promoted.

Dr M Abdulla Saleem, who was serving as Additional Director General of Police, Administration was transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Additional Director General and Special Commissioner (Traffic), Bengaluru in the upgraded post replacing Dr BR Ravikanthe Gowda in Bengaluru.

Gowda, who was Deputy Inspector General and Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspection General (DIG) of Police, CID in the vacant post.
