Miscreants slit youth’s throat after robbing him

In a shocking incident, unidentified miscreants allegedly slashed the throat of a person before robbing him of his cash and mobile phone here. The incident took place in Madanayakanahalli when a resident, Shiva Kumar was walking towards his residence. Several unidentified assailants approached Kumar on a bike attempting to rob him.

As the victim tried to fight with them, the assailants pulled out a knife and attacked him after robbing him of Rs 17,000 in cash and his mobile phone. Kumar, who was left with a severe injury to his throat, was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. A case has been registered at the jurisdictional police station regarding the incident.
