It is a four-film race for Vinay Rajkumar

Shooting for Vinay Rajkuamar’s latest film Pepe is complete. The traditional ‘kumbalakayi’ ceremony was held for the film earlier this week in Sakaleshpura where the team of over 100 actors and technicians participated in a fight sequence. The event was special as Vinay’s parents and brother Yuvarajkumar participated in it. Vinay has not been seen on screen since Ananthu Vs Nusrath in 2018.
His other films in various stages of production include the boxing sports film Ten, village story Gramayana and Andondittu Kaala, a period film in which he plays a filmmaker. All the four films are now in the race for the theatres. Which of them will be released first is the current confusion among fans. Ten was supposed to release last year but there have been no official updates about it from producer Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah.
In all likelihood Pepe may be the first of these films to be released. Pepe is a gangster drama set in the 1970s and 80s. The film’s director Shreelesh Nair first made the Kodava film Paarane, which was unusually shot with a total of only 11 shots in the entire film. The film participated in several film festivals across the world.
