Ward committee meetings cancelled

Ward committee meetings will not be held on Saturday due to a day-long training session being held by the BBMP engineering department for all its employees. Some wards may conduct the meeting if time permits. Citizen groups have been holding conventions to promote citizen participation within ward committees to ensure proper execution of projects by the municipal body and give them an upper hand at governance. Citizens can raise all kinds of civic issues within these meetings and seek answers from the authorities while also providing their own expertise to handle the matter
