Couple, who tied the knot recently, found dead on railway track

In a shocking incident, bodies of a youth and girl were found on the railway tracks near Huskur village of Nelamangala taluk here, police said on Thursday. The youth was identified as Nagendra, 21. The police said that the bodies were found on the railway tracks near Huskur railway station between Chikkabanavara and Gollahalli.

It is suspected that both of them were in love and had married recently. The police said that they might have committed suicide by jumping in front of the incoming train after their families denied accepting their marriage. However, the investigation is underway, the cops said. A case has been registered regarding the incident at the Yeswanthpur railway police station.

Biker run over by KSRTC bus, dies

I n yet another accident, a 26-year-old biker died after being run over by a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus near Jeevan Bhima Nagar on Wednesday evening. The deceased was identified as Harris, a native in Hosanagara taluk of Shivamogga district.

The incident took place around 6:50 pm when Harris was riding towards ISRO from HAL on his bike. A KSRTC bus, alleged to be overspeeding, knocked him down, throwing him off his bike and ran over him killing him on the spot, jurisdictional traffic police said.

A case has been registered regarding the incident at the Jeevan Bhima Nagar traffic police station here. Further investigation is on.
