Kalaburgi: All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary and the party’s Karnataka incharge, Randeep Singh Surjewala called upon people of Hyderabad-Karnataka to throw out the “corrupt” BJP State government in Karnataka.
“Is it not true that today there is a government in Karnataka that is steeped in corruption right from the tip of its hair to its toe nails? Take this town (Kalaburgi) for instance or Ballari or Raichur or Koppal for that matter. Without 40 per cent commission, which must be paid to the BJP, no work can be done in Karnataka. Even the seers are saying they get a five per cent discount of sorts and are required to pay 35 per cent commission,” he said. “They have robbed people of Kalyan Karnataka with both hands,” he added.
Surjewala said that Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai was personally responsible for irregularities and corruption in the recruitment of police subinspectors.
