Bengaluru: Every political party plans a perfect strategy to win elections. However, the BJP in Karnataka seems to be on par with the campaigns and strategies to win the upcoming Assembly Elections despite their leaders being spotted with notorious rowdy sheeters.

On Friday, an undated photo of offender ‘Silent’ Sunil standing next to a heavily garlanded actorturned-BJP MP, Jaggesh, went viral on social media platforms, adding more fuel to the already raging controversy.

As reported earlier this week, BJP leaders Bengaluru Central MP P C Mohan, South MP Tejasvi Surya, Chickpet MLA Uday Garudahar and South BJP president NR Ramesh among others had shared the stage with rowdy-sheeter ‘Silent’ Sunil during blood donation camp in the city.

While the party president Nalin Kumar Kateel had sought an explanation from the BJP leaders on this, a photo of another history sheeter of Wilson Garden police station, Naga, standing outside the residence of BJP Minister V Somanna was shared across the media.

The Bengaluru CCB police had termed Naga and Sunil as rowdy sheeters who are having heinous cases such as murder, filed against them. The cops had also said that the accused were ‘absconding’ while CCB had been raiding the rowdy sheeters in the city recently.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai may have already clarified that the party will not take offenders and rowdies as its members, but latest developments have given rise to speculations that whether the BJP party will allow rowdy sheeters to join the party
