Kerehalli assaulted over derogatory remarks about actor Puneet Rajkumar

Bengaluru: President of Rashtra Rakshana Pade, Puneet Kerehalli was allegedly assaulted by another pro-Kannada activist, Shivakumar and his group members in Chamarajpet over his offensive comments against Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar.

According to sources, the incident took place around 9 p.m. on Friday, when activist Shivakumar and his gang waylaid Kerehalli and assaulted him. Following this, Chamarajpet police officials visited the spot and conducted an inspection.

It is alleged that Puneet Kerehalli had allegedly spoken ill about Puneeth Rajkumar’s family and fans after the recent incident in Hospet.

Angered by this, several fans of Puneeth Rajkumar including Shiva kumar criticised him on social media and demanded an apology from him. Moreover, Puneeth Kerehalli in a social media post revealed his whereabouts and challenged Shivakumar and his gang.
