BMRCL to complete 175 kilo metres by 2025

Bengaluru: The Bangalore Metro Railways Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has proved to be an efficient mode of transport, in terms of connecting citizens in a more hasslefree, clean, and timesaving manner. There are currently two lines, that are green and purple which are in service.
The metro is known to cover a span of 12 stations in a short time and most metro stations are constructed in congested areas for the benefit of the residents nearby.
“The metro will cover 314 kilometers by 2041 in its second and third stage of the metro rail project and a stretch of 175 km is expected to be built by 2025”, Anjum Parvez, the Managing Director of BMRCL claimed at the Tech Summit 2022 .
Mobility drivers of the city strongly believe that this will encourage the use of public transport and help balance traffic to a great extent.
