Final voter list for 25 constituencies out

Bengaluru: The final electoral roll was published on Thursday, mentioning 81, 48,989 voters in 25 assembly constituencies out of the 28 assembly constituencies within the city.

The list from the other three constituencies – Shivajinagar, Chikkapet and Mahadevpura are yet to be finalised. Chief Commissioner of BBMP, Tushar Giri Nath, mentioned at a press conference, that there are 42, 26,701 male, 39, 20,793 female and 1,495 other (third gender) voters.

The final voter list will be published on CEO website (http://www.ceokarnataka.kar.nic.in) along with the BBMP website (www. bbmp.gov.in). Voters are provided an opportunity to verify and ensure their voter details.

The continuous revision of electoral roll which includes addition, amendment, transfer and removal changes to be made in the electoral roll is still in force. Voters can raise their grievances through the Voter Helpline App, NVSP Portal (www.nvsp.in), 1950 voter helpline or the voter portal (www.voterportal. eci.gov.in), a BBMP release has informed.
