Sports tourney held in city

Bengaluru: All India Democratic Students Organisation (AIDSO) held a sports tournament at Sirur Park ground in Bengaluru on Saturday, which drew 55 teams and 600 participants from a multitude of schools and colleges.

The tournament was organized by the All India Democratic Students Organisation( AIDSO) Bengaluru district committee to mark the 125th birth anniversary of the revolutionary Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

Many teams from different schools and colleges in urban Bengaluru participated in great numbers, especially in Cricket, Kabaddi, and KhoKho competitions. AIDSO District secretary Kalyan Kumar said that the tournament was one of many programs being held by the student organization to honour Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, whom they regard as a socialist revolutionary.
