Bengaluru: Bengaluru a city growing exponentially and industrially has provided residents with incredible developments facilitating a better and easy lifestyle. While the city welcomed the New Year with warmth and enthusiasm, the city still has multiple problems which remain unaddressed.

This vast city consists of multiple divisions, subdivisions, and areas that have been through changes at each corner and have turned into one of the bestdeveloped areas. Bengaluru has witnessed growth and infrastructure development in various fields. It boasts of the Green Metro Line, currently, a new one is under construction.

The metro railway has reduced travel time for daily commuters drastically, while giving them a comfortable and affordable journey.  It is interesting to listen to a few working citizens of Bengaluru, regarding their hopes and aspiration from Bengaluru in 2023. “I hope Bengaluru takes actions towards traffic and pollution management.

Moreover, schools and college students using school buses and school vans would receive a positive effect on their health from a pollution-free Bengaluru. In the meantime I believe, workers going to the workplace , if they use carpooling, it would help in reducing pollution,” Poornima A head mistress at a school said.

“I hope that usage of private transport would reduce because that would facilitate traffic management and decrease pollution in Bengaluru,” a Canara bank employee who did not want to be named, said. “In 2023, I’m expecting Bengaluru to be much cleaner and greener. Lesser traffic with proper regulations should be there,” said Haritha an Engineering student.

Savitha Lakshmi a MNC employee said, “I am hoping for a cleaner Bengaluru. And I travel around 60 kilometers each day to my work, so I am hoping for a better traffic management.”
