Casual, breezy and zestful – Daysie aims to be an easy-going all-day bar where you can hang - out all through the day

Bengaluru: Spread across 10,000 sq. ft. with a seating capacity of 400, Daysie is the latest venture by Keen Mustard Ventures that has opened near the Trinity Circle near MG Road.

Daysie brings a globally inspired food menu with influences from all corners of the world. It combines various cuisines and is a recreation of many cultures, recreating authenticity beyond borders with a brilliant take on some of the classics. Then there are the distinct Indian flavours that the menu effortlessly combines with its global fares.

One such unique creation is the Salmon Papdi Chaat which adds smoked salmon to the classic street snack, elevating it to another level. Another must-have is the Haleem Butter Toast which takes the Nizami goat stew from the Middle East, which is packed with wheat, lentils, and barley, and pairs it with the Mughlai Bakarkhani from Bangladesh which is a rich and fragrant flatbread.

Then there is the range of scrumptious pizzas and delicious flatbreads that’ll simply make your day, chief among them Blue Cheese, Poached Pears Flatbread which has polenta which is cornmeal topped with blue cheese, red wine poached pears, arugula leaves, caramelized onions, and balsamic glaze. Also worth trying is the Lush Green Pizza with Basil pesto, artichoke hearts, broccoli, olives, and jalapenos all paired with the cheesy goodness on a pizza which is a must-have for vegetarians.

Not all the dishes are hit though with Asparagus Charcoal Risotto, even though innovative and interesting doesn’t leave a good aftertaste, and the Beets & Ricotta Rigatoni also being a bit below par. For dessert, Textures of Coffee which is a silky smooth Belgian coffee mousse with crunchy Arabica bean soil, fluffy jocund sponge, creamy dalgona sauce, and a brittle coffee almond praline is must-have.

Overall, Daysie is a versatile space with a cozy vibe where the food and drinks come together to create an intriguing fusion of culinary and mixology expertise.
