Woman found dead, husband on the run

Bengaluru: A married woman was found murdered inside an apartment in Subhash Nagar, Tavarekere, in the city on Monday. The deceased was identified by the police as Naaz, 22. Police suspect that her husband Nazeer Hussain strangled her to death before fleeing from the house.

Sources close to the relatives of the deceased told News Trail that the incident came to light after Naaz's brother received a message from Hussain saying that he had murdered his sister. The family immediately alerted the jurisdictional police and rushed to the apartment, only to find it locked from inside.

The police broke open the door and found the woman dead.Sources added that the couple was married six months and had shifted to the apartment very recently. A complaint has been filed by the family of the woman against the accused who has gone absconding.
