AAP demands probe into KPSC engineers’ recruitment

Bengaluru: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) staged a protest in front of the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) office, demanding that a judicial inquiry be launched into allegedly illegal recruitment. AAP State Youth wing president Mukund Gowda protested in front of the office claiming that there had been irregularities in the recruitment of 660 Associate Engineer (AE) posts.

“Corruption is widespread in the KPSC. This has caused injustice to honest youth. There is discrimination in the Public Works Department (PWD) as far as filling of 660 AE posts is concerned, particularly in the interview process conducted by the KPSC,” he informed. He alleged that people who had done poorly in the written exams had done brilliantly in interviews, which was suspicious.
