EC measures to ensure higher voter turnout

Bengaluru: The Election Commission here plans to provide transportation and collaborate with organizations to encourage citizens to exercise their democratic rights and vote in large numbers in the ensuing assembly elections in the state.
The State Election Commission is making a concerted effort to increase voter turnout for the upcoming elections. Given that the voting percentage has been low in the past, the commission is initiating various measures to encourage citizens to vote and engage in the democratic process.
