Youth from Nepal killed by unidentified persons

Bengaluru: A 25-year-old person was found murdered in New Tharagupet under VV Puram Police Station limits on Monday night. The deceased was identified as Ramesh, a resident of Tavarekere. According to sources, the body was found with a severe cut injury on the neck. It is suspected that he might have died due to excessive bleeding.
Rushing to the spot, VV Puram police conducted an inspection following which it was learnt that the deceased was last seen with his friend, Indra, near a ruined building on the 4th cross road of New Tharagupet around 10 pm. It is alleged that Indra left to have a coffee leaving Ramesh alone at the spot for a while.
According to sources, an unidentified group of youths approached Ramesh and attacked him. After a few minutes when Indra returned, he found the bludgeoned body of Ramesh lying on the ground. He took him to Victoria Hospital and alerted the police regarding the matter. As per doctors, Ramesh succumbed to the injuries without responding to the treatment around midnight.
As per sources, Ramesh and Indra are natives of Nepal and had taken up labour jobs in the city. The police said that the cause of the murder has not been ascertained so far but the investigation is on.
