Karnataka police debars 52 candidates from further recruitment

Bengaluru: In a significant development in the investigation of the Police SubInspector (PSI) scam for 545 posts, the Karnataka police department has ordered to debar 52 candidates who were found to be involved in the malpractices during the recruitment.

The order issued by the Karnataka Director General of Police (DGP), Recruitment, mentioned the names of the 52 candidates who were permanently barred from participating in any recruitment test conducted by the police department henceforth.

The CID officials probing the recruitment scam have filed a charge sheet against the 52 accused who were alleged to be involved in malpractices in the written examination
