Nandini milk price hike by Rs 3 from Aug 1 after Cabinet nod
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: There is no respite for the common man, already heavily burdened because of the rising prices of essentials.
On Friday, the Karnataka government, after a meeting with milk union members, said it will hike the price of Nandini milk by Rs 3 per litre after the Cabinet nod.
The new price will be effective from August 1. According to reports, Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) which supplies Nandini milk, had proposed a hike of Rs 5 but the government decided on Rs 3 per litre.
Prices of dairy products could also be raised.
