Police warning to rowdy-sheeters
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: In response to reports of robberies, threats to citizens and increasing clashes, Additional Superintendent of Police summoned the rowdysheeters in Anekal sub-division and warned the habitual offenders of stringent action if they are involved in any criminal activities.
According to sources from the police, 46 out of 102 rowdy-sheeters summoned to the police station were grilled by the Additional Superintendent of Police Purushottam against involvement in cases such as land mafia, hafta collection, issuing threats and extorting money from citizens.
The officer also warned them to be decent in dressing and hair-styles, making them remove their heavy wrist and neck chains on the spot, stating that the public would be terrified by such appearances.
