Experts delve into AI’s role, job landscape

Bengaluru: During a recent event held at the Bangalore International Centre, a distinguished panel of experts convened to explore the role and effectiveness of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the realm of creativity.

Notable personalities including game developer Charu Tak, game designer Divya Tak, creative technologist Computation Mama, and author Samhita Arni were among the esteemed participants.

Amidst the discourse, a thought-provoking question emerged regarding the potential for shifts in behavior to usher in the creation of novel job opportunities in the future.

Addressing this query, author Samhita Arni shared insights with News Trail, highlighting the wealth of prospects within the AI domain.

However, she also advised caution, pointing out that as AI undergoes daily evolution, so too will the prerequisites for roles within this sector. Samhita further delved into the subject by acknowledging the strides made by AI in creative fields.

Yet, she noted the ongoing controversy surrounding its application. While AI excels in performing outcome-driven calculations, its potential for genuine creativity remains restricted.

“This limitation might render AI less appealing to professionals in areas such as advertising agencies and other creative domains, I can say.”she added.
