Minister ‘glad’ to dedicate dialysis centre for women

Bengaluru: Anew dialysis centre for women was inaugurated on Saturday at Naasih Nephro Centre in Bengaluru.

The centre was inaugurated by Maulana Sageer Ahmed Khan Sahib, Ameer-e-Shariah Karnataka, in the presence of Dinesh Gundu Rao, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Karnataka; Naseer Ahmed, MLC and AC Srinivas, MLA.

It's one of a kind dialysis centre that provides 'world-class treatment' for the economically weaker section of the society.

Maulana Shabbeer Ahmed Husaini Nadvi, President Naasih Foundation said, “We do not discriminate on any basis and we provide treatments at a very nominal price and sometimes even for free.”

He shared that at least 60 per cent to 70 per cent of their treatments are free and they are doing this service without any help or assistance from the government.

Dinesh Gundu Rao shared his appreciation and happiness towards the foundation providing free and nominal treatment to poor people.

He said, “I have never seen a dialysis centre that is entirely dedicated to women and this will encourage women to be more comfortable during their treatments.”
