'Raven' Takes Flight as a Symbol of Good Fortune

Bengaluru: In a departure from tradition, the common crow, often associated with ill omens, is set to take center stage as a harbinger of good fortune in an upcoming movie titled "Raven."
This groundbreaking project challenges the age-old superstitions surrounding crows and aims to shed light on their positive symbolism.
Actor Dilip Pai, who is making a return to the silver screen after a hiatus, shared his excitement about the unique concept of the film. "In our movie, the crow is the main character, showcasing the immense potential for good that these birds possess," Pai exclaimed speaking to News Trail.
He went on to reveal that filming for "Raven" is scheduled to commence on the 21st of this month. Starring in the film alongside Dilip Pai are Swapna Shettigar and Kumkuma.
The ensemble cast also includes accomplished actors such as Suchendra Prasad, Leela Mohan, and Shreya Aaradhya. Director Ved, who previously served as an assistant director under the tutelage of esteemed filmmakers, expressed his gratitude to the producers for entrusting him with this visionary project.
"This marks my second directorial endeavor, and I am truly humbled by the opportunity," Ved remarked.
The film's intriguing storyline was conceived by producer Vishwanath and Director Ved, impressing Prabhik Mogaveer, one of the film's two producers.
"I was captivated by the story crafted by Vishwanath and Ved, so I decided to co-produce this film," Mogaveer shared. Dilip Pai also shared his perspective on the film's unique concept, stating, "I'm thrilled to return to acting with a character that holds such significance. The crow, often regarded as the celestial vehicle of Lord Shani Mahatma, takes center stage in this remarkable narrative. 'Raven' intricately connects all its characters through this symbolic bird, promising an unforgettable cinematic experience."
