Lead Actor in 'Chef Chidambara' Film Admits to Never Cooking Before in Real Life

Bengaluru: In a stunning revelation, the lead actor of the upcoming film "Chef Chidambara," Aniruddh Jatakara, known for his roles in both mainstream and television, admitted that he has never cooked a meal in his life.
The film, directed by the acclaimed M. Anandaraj and produced by Damti Pictures, has been making headlines for its unique plot and character dynamics.
The film's shooting, which commenced on August 10, wrapped up on October 10 after a 29-day schedule in various locations including Bengaluru, Mangalore, Tumkur, and Deva Raya Duraga.
"Chef Chidambara" is a dark humor thriller featuring Aniruddh Jatakara in the lead role, portraying a chef for the first time in his career. Nidhi Subbayya, who plays a role never attempted before, shares the screen with Aniruddh.
Rachael David's character is also reported to be distinctive. The film also features an ensemble cast, including Sharath Lohitashwa, Shivamani, Shreedhar, and Mahantesh. Damti Pictures, a well-known production house, is behind the making of this film, with the postproduction work currently underway.
Aniruddh Jatakara, in a candid conversation during a press meet, revealed, "I have never set foot in a kitchen before. This is the first time I've tried my hand at cooking, thanks to the training and guidance I received for this role.
Although 'Chef Chidambara' is a crime thriller, the directors have incorporated humor into the narrative. The performances of the entire cast and the technical team have been outstanding."
Nidhi Subbayya, who essays a role she has never attempted before, expressed her satisfaction with the character, saying, "Anu, as I call him, has done an excellent job both with his character and the storyline."
The film has been penned by director Ganesh Parashuram, with Uday Leela handling the cinematography, Vijet Chandra Sankalan working on the editing, and Ritwik Muralidhar directing the music.
Ashik Husguli is responsible for the DI, and Narasimha Murthy Sahas has directed the choreography, with Madhuri Parashuram coordinating the dance sequences.
