B'luru: Biker tossed in air after speeding car hits him

Bengaluru: Horrific visuals of a road accident went viral across social media platforms on Monday which showed a motorcyclist flung into the air after an allegdly recklessly driven car crashed into him on the outskirts of the city.

The video was recorded by a dashcam of another vehicle on Anekal-Hosur Road. The car driver can be seen dangerously speeding his vehicle before going off the road and hitting the biker who had stopped on the side of the road.

Due to the impact of the collision, the biker was tossed a few feet up in the air along with his bike before falling on the road injured. The car then turns sharply to the right and comes to a halt on the other side of the road.

Fortunately, another person who was with the biker barely managed to escape without any injuries.

It is suspected the car driver was drunk. Anekal Police registered a case against the car driver and arrested him after the incident.
