Dasara: Special trains to connect Mysuru and 2 north K'taka cities

Mysuru, NT Bureau: South Western Railway (SWR) has announced special trains from Mysuru to Dharwad and Vijayapura to clear the rush due to the Dasara festival.

The Mysuru to Dharwad Special Express would run two trips commencing on Sunday and Tuesday next week. The train would depart from Mysuru at 10:35 pm and arrive in Dharwad at 8 am the next day, that is Monday and Wednesday respectively.

The Dharwad to Mysuru Special Express would run two trips commencing on Monday and Wednesday next week. The train will depart Dharwad at 11:15 am and arrive in Mysuru at 9:30 pm on the same day.

The Vijayapura to Mysuru Special Express will run a special trip, commencing on Saturday via Hassan. The train would depart Vijayapura at 11:45 am and arrive in Mysuru on Sunday at 11:45 am.

Moreover, the timings of the Dasara special trains running between Mysuru to Chamarajanagar and Mysuru to KSR Bengaluru have been revised.

One of the special train will now departure Krantiveer Sangoli Rayanna (KSR) in Majestic Bengaluru at 5 pm and arrive in Mysuru at 8:15 pm. On the return journey, the train will departure Mysuru at 8:30 pm and arrive in KSR Bengaluru at 11:30 pm.

These special trains will have services from Friday to Tuesday next week. The Mysuru to Chamarajanagar Special Express will now departure Mysuru at 8:45 pm on Tuesday next week and arrive in Chamarajanagara at 10:40 pm.
