
CCB cops raid hideouts of rowdy sheeters in city

Bengaluru: In an early morning operation, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) police conducted raids at 17 rowdy sheeter hideouts in the city on Wednesday.
The raids were conducted at various police station divisions in Bengaluru during which the police claimed to have seized weapons, blank cheques, and bond papers from rowdy sheeters' hideouts.
Bengaluru Central Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) R Srinivas Gowda said, "Raids were conducted at rowdy sheeter hideouts after we had received credible information that they were involved in illegal activities. Some of them did not appear before the court even though Non-Bailable Warrants (NBW) were isued against them,” he said.
