Dharmanna tests fate with Rajayoga
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: When it comes to one's life, the concept of Rajayoga suggests that everything touched turns to gold. This very notion is explored in the film Rajayoga, crafted on this concept.
Dharmanna Kadur, who had previously played supporting roles, mostly as a comedian, now takes on the role of the protagonist. The film was released this weekend.
Directed and written by Lingaraj Uchangidurga, this film, produced by Sri Rama Ratna Productions through Kumar Kanthirav, Dikshit Krishna, Prabhu Chikkanahalli, Lingaraju K.N., Neeraj Gouda, and Dharmanna Kadur, carries the responsibility of storytelling, screenplay, and dialogues by Lingaraj Uchangidurga.
It is backed by the music of Akshay S. Rishab and the lyrics of Pramod Jois. Speaking on behalf of the film's producers, Kumar Kanthirav praised Dharmanna's portrayal of rural life in the movie and expressed confidence that the audience would appreciate the serious content presented in a humorous manner.
Director Lingaraj said, "This is my first film as a director. We have earnestly worked to deliver a sincere village film. We have shown how life in a village is, and every character in the film is significant."
Actress Nireeksharaav is also making her debut as a leading lady.
"This is my first film. As an educated woman, I play the role of a homemaker and showcase how I manage the family. The story revolves around superstitions and beliefs, and I believe it will enlighten viewers. The film is already a hit with the trailer and songs, and I am confident it will win hearts," she said.
The film features six songs composed by Akshay S. Rishab, with music collaboration and cinematography by Chikkanahalli Nagendra Shaa. Other cast members include Usha Ravishankar, Mahanthesh Hiremath, and more.
