Radhika Kumaraswamy marks birthday with two films

Bengaluru: Actress Radhika Kumaraswamy celebrated her birthday with joy as the teaser for her upcoming film "Bhairadevi" and posters for "Ajagrata" were unveiled.

The event saw the presence of members from both film crews, and Radhika Kumaraswamy thanked everyone for their wishes.

"It's my birthday today, and I'm delighted to see all of you here. Wishing you all a happy Deepawali," expressed Radhika Kumaraswamy during the celebration.

She shared the uniqueness of this birthday, given the simultaneous release of the teaser for "Bhairadevi" and the poster for "Ajagrata." Both films are being produced under the banner of Shamika Enterprises.

"Bhairadevi" is a significant project for me, portraying a fierce character. The majority of the film was shot in a crematorium, and the effort put into this film surpasses anything I've done before.

The teaser has been received with great joy, and director Sri Jai has done an excellent job," said Radhika Kumaraswamy, expressing her excitement. The film is set to be released in Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil, making it a multilingual venture.

Radhika Kumaraswamy plays the role of a fierce goddess, and the film explores the challenges of portraying such a character. She expressed her gratitude to her brother Ravi Raj and the film crews for their hard work and dedication.

On the occasion of the dual release, Radhika Kumaraswamy extended her gratitude to her brother Ravi Raj, who not only produced the films but also organized the birthday celebration near her residence.

"Bhairadevi" is a significant milestone in my 30-year-long career in the film industry. Playing the role of an aggressive goddess was challenging, and the majority of the film was shot in the crematorium, which was a unique experience for me. I'm thrilled to share the teaser with the audience today," said Radhika Kumaraswamy.

She also discussed her upcoming film, "Ajagrata," directed by Shashidhar, emphasizing the film's release in seven languages. The director praised Radhika Kumaraswamy for her dedication to the project and highlighted her portrayal in the psychological crime thriller "Ajagrata."
