Return date for special train from Barmer changed

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: South Western Railway (SWR) announced that the timings of the special train from Bengaluru to Barmer in the return direction have been tweaked.

In the return direction, the train was supposed to depart from Barmer at 3:45 am on Friday and arrive in Sir M Visvesvaraya Ter minal (SMVT), Bengaluru at 11:30 pm on Saturday.

However, the train would be undergoing service in Barmer and is therefore expected to chug into SMVT Bengaluru next Tuesday instead.

This train is now expected to depart from Barmer at 10:30 pm on November 26, which is this coming Sunday and arrive at SMVT, Bengaluru at 5:30 pm on November 28, which falls on a Tuesday.

The SMVT Bengaluru to Barmer Special Express is still expected to depart from SMVT, Bengaluru at 4:30 pm on Tuesday and arrive in Barmer at 1:45 pm on Thursday.

SWR has disclosed that linen and bedroll would not be provided in these special trains.
