CCB arrested a man from Bihar who operated drug peddling in the city
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police on Friday arrested a man who was running a drug-supply syndicate in the city.
The accused has been identified as Akhilesh Kumar Singh, a native of Bihar who was accused of supplying drugs in Bengaluru in an organised manner since 2018.
The police said that Singh had rented a house in Bagalur from where eight men appointed by him operated in the city. He allegedly paid them Rs 30,000 per month to supply drugs in Bengaluru.
Singh used to supply ganja and MDMA drugs from Bihar and provided details to his men about to whom these drugs had to be delivered.
His peddlers allegedly operated wearing T-shirts of food and grocery delivery platforms. According to the police, six cases registered in the city were linked to the accused.
