Bengaluru: Protests broke out at the Maharani Cluster University in Bengaluru on Monday, demanding a resolution to the many problems they claimed they faced.
The students said that the examination results were not being released in a timely manner. They added that scores of students had complained about many errors in their results.
The protesters also complained about toilets being in very poor condition and general lack of cleanliness and hygiene.
The demonstrators said that classes for the newly introduced Open Elective subjects under National Education Policy (NEP) weren’t being conducted.
They added that many classes were not being conducted for the past three weeks due to “the justified struggle being waged by the guest lecturers.”
