Denied nod for photo shoot, girl ends life

In a tragic incident, a 21-year-old student died by suicide in Bengaluru after her parents allegedly denied her permission to do a New Year’s Eve photoshoot at a mall here.

The deceased was identified as Varshini, a BBA student at a reputed college in Jayanagar and a resident of Sudhamanagar in Bengaluru.

According to police, she was found dead by her parents on Sunday.

A police officer said that Varshini had completed a photography course and asked her parents for permission to do a photoshoot at a mall along with her friends.
