DCP West police say 'No to drugs'

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The Bengaluru West Division Police organised the "Say No to Drugs" walkathon on Monday morning. Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru West Division, S Girish said that the motive behind the walkathon was to create awareness among the youth regarding the illeffects of using the drugs.

Through his address, the DCP highlighted how awareness programs are pivotal in combating the drug issue that has been gnawing at the core of our society.

"Awareness is the real thing that should be spread amongst the public in today's world. It was an overwhelming response as many students gathered here and walked with us for the cause,"Girish said.

The event was marked by the presence of renowned Kannada actor Ganesh.
