Sri Raghavendra Chitravani unveils 2023 Annual Film Awards winners

Bengaluru: The prestigious film promotion organization Sri Raghavendra Chitravani has unveiled the winners of its annual awards for the year 2023.
This significant event, devoted to celebrating excellence within the Kannada film industry, aims to acknowledge individuals who have made noteworthy contributions to the cinematic art form.
Established by the late trailblazing publicist DV Sudheendra, the awards pay homage to his 25 years of dedicated service to Sri Raghavendra Chitravani, transforming the organization into a formidable entity in the film industry.
The upcoming awards ceremony, commemorating the 48th anniversary of the organization and the 23rd year of recognizing excellence, is scheduled to take place on January 27th.
“Sudheendra Venkatesh” is now managing Raghavendra Chitravani. The late D Ramu has been honored with the Outstanding Film Producer Award, while Muralidhar Khajane has been recognized with the Distinguished Film Journalist Award.
Both accolades are presented by Raghavendra Chitravani. The renowned playback singer Hemant Kumar is set to receive the Dr. Rajkumar Memorial Award, presented by the family of Dr. Rajkumar, and director Nagathihalli Chandrashekar will be bestowed with the R. Sheshadri Memorial Award presented by Bharathi Vishnuvardhan.
The Jayamala H.M. Ramachandra Award goes to Jayalakshmi P from Dubai. Furthermore, Jo Costa has been chosen as the Best Music Director, Hemant Rao as the Best Story Writer, and Dhananjay as the Best Lyricist.
Special recognition will be accorded to national award-winning individuals, namely BN Subrahmanyam, Rakshit Shetty, and Anirudh Jatkar.
