Bengaluru: The Forum of Former Vice Chancellors of Karnataka (FVCK), along with the state education policy have deliberated on the New Education Policy(NEP), 2020’s revamp of the undergraduate program.
In the meeting which took place recently, the dignitaries agreed on the challenges faced by freshers who join multi-disciplinary courses under the NEP, especially students from the economically weaker section (EWP).
The meeting also suggested that Internal assessment marks of 40% in a Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with Formative Assessment enhances skill development rather than theoretical knowledge.
