UCO bank signs MoU to launch ‘UCO Empower’

Bengaluru: UCO Bank has entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with M/s Poornatha and Company recently to launch“UCO Empower”, an online training program for MSME customers in vernacular language under Bank’s CSR activity.
The MoU signed by Shri Prem Shankar Jha, General Manager, MSME Department and Shri Suresh T, Partner, M/s Poornatha and Company in the presence of Shri Vijay N.Kamble, Executive Director, Shri Manish Kumar, General Manager, HRM, PSD, Training and OL, Shri Manoj Kumar Anand, General Manager, Agriculture and Rural Business and Shri Rajesh Nagar, General Manager, Retail Banking Department.
“ UCO Empower ” was launched by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, in the presence of Shri Pankaj Chaudhary, Hon’ble Minister of State for Finance, Government of India and Shri Ashwani Kumar, MD and CEO of UCO Bankduring credit outreach program organized by UCO Bank at Dhenkanal, Odisaon on Saturday.
"UCO Empower" is a educational initiative designed to equip MSME entrepreneurs with necessary financial, leadership and managerial expertise for sustainable business development.
The course consists of 10 modules which will be delivered over10 hours. Under this initiative, MSME entrepreneurs will have convenience to attend online program from place of their choice in morning or evening without affecting their business activity.
