Bengaluru: The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has scheduled maintenance work for the Purple Line between Trinity and M.G Road Metro stations on February 11.
To facilitate these essential activities, Purple Line metro train services will be temporarily curtailed for two hours from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, specifically between M.G Road and Indiranagar Metro stations.
During this brief disruption, trains will run only between M.G Road and Challaghatta, as well as between Indiranagar and Whitefield (Kadugodi), starting at 7 am.
Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly, taking into account the limited service during this time frame.
After 9 am, regular services on the entire Purple Line, covering Whitefield (Kadugodi) to Challaghatta metro stations, will resume according to the usual schedule.
Conversely, on the Green Line, train services will commence as per the usual 7 am schedule from all terminal stations, ensuring minimal disruption for passengers on this route during their daily commute.
