Woman doctor claims harassment by junior

Bengaluru: A woman and doctor, who is the head of pharmacognosy at a prestigious hospital in the city, has alleged sexual harassment by a junior colleague.
A complaint has been lodged with the Banashankari police station in this connection.
Dr Raju HV has been accused of harassing the senior doctor sexually and tormenting her to leave the institution by spreading rumours about her in the college circles and among friends.
As per the complaint filed by the victim, Dr Raju is junior to her and works in the same department. She alleged that as per the seniority list, she was qualified, but the vice-principal named Dr Raju intentionally.
When she went to the principal to question this, the accused allegedly stopped her and allegedly picked a fight with her. The woman doctor further alleged that the accused used to stalk her and tormented her.
She claimed that the accused would even come to her house and pick up fights, insult her publicly using abusive language. The Banashankari police are currently investigating the matter.
