Man hires contract killers to murder wife's lover

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Halasuru Gate Police arrested a gang who allegedly abducted a 49-year-old man from Nagarathpet and murdered him in the city.

The deceased was identified by the police as Mohammed Akhtar Ali. It was learnt that he used to work as a goldsmith in Bengaluru.

It was revealed that the deceased was involved in an affair with a woman. When the woman's husband, Shahnawaz, came to know about it, he allegedly hired contract killers to murder Akhtar Ali.

On Monday, Akhtar Ali's wife filed a missing complaint with the Halasuru Gate Police following which the body of Akhtar Ali was found at an isolated location in Varthur.

More details are yet to emerge in further investigation. Currently the police are interrogating the accused.
