Bengaluru: Two employees of a dairy company in the city were arrested after they allegedly hired men to thrash their senior over work pressure.

A video was shared on the social media platform which showed a man being assaulted by a biker gang on the Lumbini Garden Main Road in the city.

It was learnt that the incident had taken place around 6:18 on March 31. The police launched an investigation and identified the victim as Suresh, who was employed as an auditor with Heritage Foods and Dairy Products Manufacturers in Bengaluru.

The drama unfolded when the police recorded Suresh's statement. He alleged that two of his colleagues, Umashankar and Vinesh, were behind this.

Suresh joined the company as an auditor one year ago. The accused, Umashankar and Vinesh, were disappointed when Suresh started to exert pressure on the employees to clear the transactions on a daily basis unlike earlier.

Suresh also brought it to the notice of the company’s seniors and took strict action on their instructions against the employees who failed to complete their work.

Enraged at this, the accused decided to teach him a lesson and hired men to thrash Suresh. Umashankar confessed to the police that he gave supari to the ex-employee of the same firm, Sandeep and his friends from KR Puram to assault Suresh.

Sandeep and his friends attacked Suresh with an iron rod while he was walking on the road and fled the scene.

Luckily, the act of Sandeep and his accomplice was captured on a dashboard camera of a car, leading to the arrest of five people by the Hennur police.
