Bangalore University hosts international conference on quality teacher education

Bengaluru: Bangalore University recently hosted an international conference on teacher education at the H N auditorium.

The event saw participation from over 300 educators and experts worldwide. S.R. Niranjana, Chairman of the Karnataka State Higher Education Council, highlighted the critical role of quality teachers in shaping quality students.

Topics covered included effective lesson planning, classroom culture, parent-teacher communication, and tech tools for education.

B.K. Ravi, Vice-Chancellor of Koppal University, likened teaching to sculpting and emphasised the need for teachers to adapt to technological advancements.
