Ear cut off, mouth mutilated: Autopsy report of Renukaswamy

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The post-mortem reports of Renukaswamy who was brutally murdered in a shed in the city, have revealed that he was given electric shocks before his death.

Sources from the police had earlier said that there were multiple bruise marks on Renukaswamy's body which hinted that he was brutally tortured by his attackers.

Sources also added that one of his ears was missing and his testicles were ruptured. Further his mouth was mutilated and broken.

"There was bleeding in his hands, feet, back and chest. He died of blood clots due to the severe assault. He was assaulted using a wooden stick and a belt. Additionally, the post-mortem report revealed that dogs had eaten the man’s face and some parts of his dead body," an officer said.

Renukaswamy, 33, a resident of Chitradurga, was allegedly kidnapped and brought to Bengaluru by his attackers. His body was recovered by Kamakshipalya police from a storm water drain near Sumanahalli bridge on June 9.

It is being alleged that Renukaswamy had allegedly shared lewd and offensive pictures of actress Pavithra Gowda.

After the murder came to light, Kannada film actor Darshan, Pavithra Gowda and several others were arrested by the police during the investigation of the murder. Currently the probe is still underway.
