Man found dead under mysterious circumstances, wife charged with murder

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A man named Asghar was found dead under mysterious circumstances within the DJ Halli Police Station limits on Wednesday.

The body of Asghar, married for 14 years and lived with his wife along with five children, was discovered with severe burns in his house.

Initial reports suggest that Asghar's body was found at his house on Wednesday, and it appears that he was burned using a flammable substance. His wife claims that there was a fight between them the night before.

In the early hours of the morning, Asghar came home in a drunk state, poured the substance on both himself and her, and then set them on fire.

While she managed to escape, she was unable to save her husband’s life, as she detailed in her complaint. Bashir Khan, a relative of the deceased, claimed that Asghar's wife assaulted him before setting him on fire and is fully responsible for the incident.

Even Asghar’s mother has accused his wife of setting him on fire. The DJ Halli police visited the scene and conducted an inspection as part of their ongoing investigation.
