After dry September, parts of B’luru witness heavy rains

NT Correspondent Bengaluru: Heavy rain and gusty winds lashed parts of the Central Business District (CBD) and East Bengaluru late on Tuesday. Coming after the driest September, Tuesday’s showers if they continue, could make October a much wetter month. Ac c o rd ing t o the Indian Meteorological Depar tment (IMD) , Bengaluru Urban recorded 21.5 millimeters of rainfall while Electronic City recorded 6 mm rain. The IMD has predicted isolated heavy rains in Bengaluru, (Urban & Rural), for the next five days starting Friday, October 4.
