Mother takes lives of her two kids after deserting hubby for sake of lover
NT Correspondent: Ramanagara A disturbing incident has come to light where a mother who lived in Ramanagara, left her husband who lived in Bengaluru and ran away with her lover after suffocating her children with a pillow because she thought they would interfere with her relationship. The woman, Sweety (24) killed her children, Kabila (2) and Kabilan (11) by burying them in the Ramanagara graveyard. Sweety was a resident of Bengaluru and reached Ramanagara along with her two children and her lover, Gregory Francis (27) after abandoning her husband. They lived at a rented house in Manjunath Nagar here.
As the days went by, Sweety realised that Gregory did not take kindly to the presence of the children and neglected them without taking care of them. So first, the couple allegedly killed the elder child by suffocating him and buried in the Ramanagara cemetery.
When they realised that the ‘cries’of the 2-year-old child were also proving to be a hindrance, they killed him and buried him in the cemetery while claiming he had fallen ill and died. However, the cemetery staff got suspicious on seeing the two children dying in a gap of 15 days and filed a complaint with the police. Based on the complaint of the graveyard watchman, the police registered a complaint. When interrogated, Sweety admitted that she had killed the two children with her lover.
