The suicide of a young woman that took place on November 29 in Rajajinagar police station limits, has taken a turn as she has mentioned in her death note that her friend was responsible for the suicide. Nineteen-year-old Priyanka, who was doing her first year B.Com course at a private college, committed suicide outside the first floor of her house. After registering a case and investigating, the police contacted the girl's friends and found out that her friend Diganth had allegedly cheated her.

Police sources claimed that in the death note found on her mobile, Priyanka said: ''I gave gold worth Rs 15 lakh to Diganth, who was a friend. He did not return the gold and was harassing me. Digant is the cause of my death.'' Diganth allegedly befriended the deceased woman's father who was a gold merchant. Police sources said that Priyanka gave the valuables worth Rs 15 lakh to Digant without informing anyone at home. Currently, the police have registered a case against Diganth.
