A Bengaluru-based tech professional, who was allegedly terminated from his role at the India office of an American workforce management company, has made serious claims against his former manager. In a LinkedIn post shared on December 20, he described his brief tenure with the company as a struggle due to a “toxic work environment, marked by micromanagement, an overwhelming workload and excessive focus on minor infractions” as per reports.

Despite lacking experience in SaaS (Software as a Service), the employee, who previously worked at Amazon and Revolut, joined the company on September 9, 2024, eager to learn and adapt. During his interview, he acknowledged his lack of expertise but expressed a willingness to grow. However, he alleged that the company failed to provide the necessary guidance or training.

Instead of offering constructive feedback, the employee criticised his manager for focusing on trivial issues, such as minute-long breaks and for imposing an unmanageable workload. He claimed he was expected to handle 35 to 40 cases weekly, often with additional tasks piled on at the end of his shifts, leading to frequent overtime with little understanding from his manager.
